What I said about the drums in the other song still stand in this song, so you know what I said about those before. I must say though, that the drums sound better on this than in the other songs. Anyways, on to the main part I want to talk about, which is the guitar! I can see what you meant when you said this was your favorite out of what you've submitted so far. The guitar sounds sick the whole way through. Even the parts that repeat sound great. The solo part of the song sounds terrific. I like the cutoff in the intro part of the song. I can't describe exactly why, but the song wouldn't sound right without it. It sort of reminds me of pokemon music in a way for some parts of it, and no, that isn't a bad thing.
As I write this, it just went to the solo, which makes it easier to review it. The thing sounds amazing, really interesting to listen to, even after it has been on loop for a long time, which this has. ;) Anyways, great job, keep up the great work, etc etc. :P

Rock on dude! Thanks a lot for the review; this one's definitely my current favorite too. (Don't think I'm letting you off the hook for the "pokemon music" comment though; dem's fightin' words. lol)
I needed some convincing on not filling the gap with a cool squealie sound or something. I can thank my girlfriend for persuading me to leave the gap alone.
Glad you enjoyed it.

I favor this as compared to Qua. That isn't to say I dislike Qua, just means I like this one better. :) I debated with myself about giving this a 9, because of the drums, but your guitar playing won out in the end. What I mean by the drums is that it'd be cool if you found someone to play the drums for you, because I think it would help your guitar playing sound better. The drums now aren't terrible, but they sound sort of, I don't know, flat? Anyways, my point is that this song is great, as with your other songs, but it could be boosted tremendously if you find some lives drums to work with. Have fun!

Thanks for the review dude! Yeah, I definitely take your point on a live drummer being preferable. I wish it were easier to find a live drummer on demand to record for me, but time and money constraints generally win out in the end. This project had a deadline, and I needed to be able to compose it freely; being that most of the drummers I know were in another state for much of the composition, the drum machine was necessary.
For this song in particular though, I actually wanted to have a chaotic mix of drums, percussion, and odd sound effects that a live drummer couldn't do. For this kind of song, I wanted to have maximum creative flexibility and be able to throw in all the weirdness I was looking for.

This song was pretty dang good. It seemed slightly hip-hopish, but not annoyingly so. Only problem I found, and this is indeed a very minor one, is that it got a little repetitive after a while. Not much of an issue, though.

I honestly think this song deserves a 10/10. Everything goes together right and it sounds very tropicalish, without getting too boring. There is also the fact that you get bonus points for it being Donkey Kong! :)

You guys work well together, and I don't doubt that you will make it big. The only thing is a matter of when it will happen. If I could, I would fly out to see you play in a club. Your singer sounds perfect for your group, as well. 5/5, 10/10!

This does indeed deserve a 10. I agree with your friend who says it neutralizes any mood you are in. It seems pretty calming. All in all a pleasing song to listen to. You pulled it off well and I hope to hear more from you!

Pretty calming at first. Yet when the main melody kicks in, it becomes lots more energetic. I like this one man! I'll definately check more of your songs! (Can't right now though, time to sleep. I'm hella tired atm.) All in all, 9/10, 5/5!

Most definitely deserves a ten out of ten, five out of five. This seriously sounds like professionally made, publishable material. You have a great voice for singing, no doubt about it, and this is some of the best piano/classical music I have heard in awhile. The only thing I would have to offer is that you find some way to boost the gain on your microphone a little bit, as it is a tad hard to hear over the piano.
